Had a trip down memory lane this week when I was contacted by an authors’ website whose editor had just read my book Healing Lives, about Dr Catherine Hamlin and her protegee Mamitu Gashe saving young women’s lives in Ethiopia. They asked to feature it, and then asked me for my personal recommendations of books set in Africa.
