These days it’s considered extremely trendy to go somewhere where you can’t access social media easily or make any calls on your mobile. And, sometimes, the notion of getting away from it all does sound delightful. But in reality? Aaarrgghh! 
I’ve just spent two weeks travelling through the top of the Top End in Arnhem Land where there was very little internet and no phone coverage (for us Optus users anyway), and, I’m ashamed to say, I found it extremely challenging. You could understand that maybe for young people, who’ve grown up with social media, but it’s really infected the rest of us now too. So am I just pathetic, or would you feel the same?
