I wrote an opinion column the other day for the Sydney Morning Herald and Age on why AI has no place in the caring industry – because it doesn’t have a heart. I used my dad as an example, and how he’s been separated from the carer he has found a real connection with, because the industry is now all about operational efficiency rather than true caring.
