Christmas seems to come early in Scotland – visited the opening of the special Christmas display at the local garden centre in Dumfries and it’s still only October. But they had everything, from a life-sized Santa to mini-reindeers, from Advent calendars to Christmas gnomes and elves, from warm mince pies to mulled wine samples. And on such a cold grey day, you can understand exactly why everyone is so enthusiastic!
