Just one more week before I set off on a 12km sponsored walk to raise money for one of the most worthwhile Australian charities around, MedEarth. It’s a fabulous organisation that recovers old, unused and no longer wanted medical equipment and supplies from Australian hospitals and clinics, and then sends them out to places in the developing world most in need. And, of course, we’re saved all that environmental pollution from unnecessary landfill. A triumph!
If anyone would like to sponsor me on this Trails for Change – it’s tax deductible of course – go to this link. https://trailsforchange.com.au/sue-williams
Every $10 donated enables MedEarth to recover $1,000 of usable medical equipment and supplies, which impacts the lives of over 100 people. A $200 donation can recover medical equipment and supplies to save over 70 infants per year.
