Stayed the night in Terrigal, and then went for a 20km hike (well, it felt like it) up Wamberal Beach and back. Along the way saw some of the $10million+ homes on the beach teetering on the cliffs, eroded terribly by giant waves over the last months. Owners want a seawall built, while most locals don’t. Either way, it’s a shocking reminder of the effects of climate change – and a dire warning that we need to act.
