Our new cat River isn’t quite as helpful as she thinks, sharing my desk. For one thing, she lost chapter 2 of a novel when she stomped on the keyboard to get more attention, and for her next, vomited on a book. The joy of pets! Mind you, we’re still looking forward to meeting her twin sister who’s been hiding under the bed since she arrived. We have to be patient in coaxing her out … but if anyone has any great ideas, would love to hear them!
