Loved Bangarra’s latest production Illume, now showing at the Joan Sutherland Theatre at the Sydney Opera House — after 20 years in the Drama Theatre. Yay! They’re finally in their rightful home. Illume is a stunning show, and it’s set on the Dampier Peninsula among the indigenous community where my recent book, Run For Your Life was set, around Lombadina. Beautiful dancing, fabulous set — that includes a real crackling fire on stage – and amazing light design. Bravo.
