Yes, I know I should have done but it is only a dug-out that feels a bit shaky and does let in water … and my paddler seems very happy not to have me disrupting the smooth flow of our progress through the Amazon. Had an absolutely glorious day floating around the tributaries of the river – the perfect way to appreciate the environment.
