Such a treat to chat to fellow author Kate Forsyth about her stunning new book, The Changeling, at the Willoughby Literary Festival at the weekend. We’re both historical writers, but she goes way back further than me, looking at, in her latest novel, the witch hunts of 16th Century Scotland, whereas my most recent novel, The Duke’s Secret, was almost contemporary by comparison, set in the 18th and 19th Century. But as Kate talked about her work, the audience was mesmerised — as was I. Great to share the stage, Kate!
