Had one of the best desserts of my life the other day at a new Chinese eating house in Darlinghurst – Lucky You Darling on Victoria Street. A small restaurant, but beautifully formed, the food was exceptional, the service top-notch and the toilets … well, they even had heated seats. But when it came to dessert, this topped the lot – Lucky Gaytime, which was a deep fried Gaytime ice-cream, biscuit and cornflake crumble, with salted caramel sauce. Wow! Worth going back for that alone! Highly recommended.
