I took a seat up in the crow’s nest on Deck 12, at the top of the ship, for the sailing out of the fjord for a different view on high, where we were regaled with tales of the human history of the landscapes. Local farmers used to carry their goats on their shoulders up the mountain each summer to let them free to graze, and then climb down with them every winter to keep them warm in a barn. Such an incredibly hard life amongst such beauty.
