A cathedral? A church? No, a university in Wroclaw, Poland. While today there are still some lectures held there, it’s mostly the home of the university’s own museum. And when you’re associated with no fewer than nine Nobel Prize winner, including the likes of Theodor Mommsen, Philipp Lenard, Eduard Buchner, Paul Ehrlich, Fritz Haber, Friedrich Bergius, Erwin Schrödinger, Otto Stern and Max Bor, you’d be forgiven a certain amount of self-congratulation.
