Great to appear at the inaugural Willoughby Literary Festival on Sydney’s North Shore, and on a fabulous panel alongside other historical fiction writers Belinda Alexandra (The Masterpiece), Lauren Keegan (Bees in the Hollow) and Nicole Alexander (The Limestone Road). I was talking about my latest, The Governor, His Wife and His Mistress, so an incredible spread of storytelling, from the early days of the colony to France during World War, to 16th Century beekeepers in Lithuania to post-WWII South Australia.
