The 13th Century Gothic cathedral in Poland’s Wroclaw, reconstructed after the devastation of WWII, is a stunning sight. Consecrated originally in 1272, the St John the Baptist Archcathedral has fallen a number of times, to the troops of Bohemia (today’s Czech Republic), the Mongols, fire and the Red Army in the last days of WWII. A testament to faith!
