Dropped in on gorgeous Kiama to watch my partner Jimmy – also known as the crime novelist James Dunbar – attend a Q & A at the local library with fellow crime writer Tim Ayliffe, on the launch of his new book Twisted River, which is set in the town. It was great to hear the two riffing on the crime genre, and the generous townsfolk didn’t seem to mind either about the sudden local explosion in (fictional) dastardly deeds.
