Couldn’t resist visiting bookshops on the weekend to see if my new book, 
The Duke’s Secret, was on the shelves. It’s always a risky venture – don’t know if other writers feel the same? – but if the book’s not there, or is tucked away at the back of the shop, it can be devastating! But, thrillingly, there was a pile on display right at the front of Dymocks in Sydney, just by the payment counter. Woohoo! And then also lots of books in the Australian Fiction section. Felt great to be signing a selection – especially in advance of the Dymocks Literary Lunch this Friday 13th!
