Endless Summer

Summer seems to be never-ending in Sydney this year … Even nature can’t work it out. Take a look at a friend’s stunning camellia shrub. Camellias are symbols of love, resilence and devotion, with the petals falling at the same time as the leafy base when the bloom dies. But this is the second time it’s flowered in the last year when normally it would only do so once. It’s fabulous to see – but sobering to ponder at what cost.
