Visited the historic (built by John Macarthur in 1824 for his family, their governess and friends) on their Foundation Day, to see the place come alive with people in heritage dress, and giving talks on the area’s history. A fabulous day and only occasionally was the effect spoiled by a 21st Century take-away coffee cup!
