Beware of a cascade of cuteness on the horizon: we’ve just adopted two rescue kittens. We’ve called the girl Frida (after Kahlo) as she has a little white milk moustache, and her brother Diego (after her husband Rivera). We’ve also named them in memory of our dear departed kitten Trotsky, with his namesake being Frida’s sometime lover, and Rivera’s sometime friend. We went to adopt one, as you do, but the pair were so happy in each other’s company, we couldn’t bear to separate them. So welcome to your new home, you guys! I’m sure you’ll prove a fabulous distraction from writing!
