Magic Milos

A more restful time on the Greek island of Milos, where Venus de Milo was unearthed in 1820 by a local farmer. It’s a land of white rocks, caves, volcanic beaches, fabulous restaurants and cats, cats and more cats. Locals feed them and look after them, and leave them free to wander. One came up and settled himself on my lap on one beach and seemed a lovely smoochy creature – until he jumped off, and lashed out at another woman sitting on the beach. Oh dear. He’s not mine, I rushed to tell her.
