Ravishing Ravenna

Our first stop is at the Italian port city of Ravenna, well-known for its incredible 5^th and 6^th Century Christian mosaics, first built by the Romans. They’re everywhere – in the churches, chapels, the basilica, the baptistry, and are absolutely glorious in stunning colours and incredible designs, with most being UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
