Meet my dear old dad, the man who inspired my new novel, The Duke’s Secret, by telling me the family legend about us being related to the Duke of Wellington. Unfortunately, he was rushed to hospital this week but, as you can see, for a 95 year old, he looks incredibly well. He’ll outlive us all!
And he took some essential reading matter with him too. Nervously awaiting his final verdict!
