Tramping

We took a break at the Karangahake Gorge for a quick walk along the old gold mining carriage tracks, up the side of a mountain at the base of the Coromandel Range. You walk through the old mining tunnels – a torch would have come in useful! — and along the tracks to admire the breathtaking views far below.
