Yes, Australia’s oldest homestead, Elizabeth Farm in Parramatta. It’s a beautifully preserved building, with furniture you can actually sit on to imagine what it must have been like when Elizabeth and John Macarthur and their family lived there. It’s part of my research for a book, and an aspect of writing I love the most. It’s so lovely to sit and dream about the past, and the future when the book’s finished, hopefully!
